- Become a Coach
Become a National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) Lifestyle Coach
What do you need to become a coach?
You will need to go through a CDC-recognized training program to become a certified National DPP lifestyle coach. You’ll be trained to lead this program for your organization. During the training, we will discuss ways to help the participant learn new skills, to encourage them along the way and to keep them motivated in making those changes. You play a crucial role to facilitate discussion of the different topics among the group members and keep the sessions fun and engaging.
