Become a National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) Master Trainer
What do you need to become a Master Trainer?
Prior to the training, you will need to:
- have completed DPP lifestyle coach training.
- have led a one-year DPP cohort.
How long does the training take?
The master training is 12 hours. We offer some training sessions in the evenings and/or on weekends. Please check the schedule for upcoming training dates.
How much does it cost?
$1500 per master trainer. Please contact us to arrange for payment by check prior to attending the training. Checks made payable to "Touro University California c/o Diabetes Services".
We will require a copy of your DPP lifestyle coach training certificate, the name of the organization that you are coaching for, the beginning and end dates and the location of the DPP cohort where you coached. Please supply this information prior to training date.
